General Summary: As a market leader in wireless solutions, Qualcomm has been instrumental in enabling best‑in‑class Wi‑Fi and BT solutions to mobile phone, compute, consumer electronics, and access point segments. Next generation Wi‑Fi solutions will drive lower power, ultra‑low latency to enable best in class user experience for consumer electronics, CoPilot+ AI PCs, 5G, IoT, and XR use cases with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms. As a staff product manager for Qualcomm Compute & Consumer Connectivity (CCW), you will define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy for IoT and XR/AR platform, engage with key customers, develop ecosystem for the products, and drive HW/SW roadmap for the new technologies and initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

Strategic Vision: Define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy with technical enablers for XR and IoT.

Platform Development: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance and optimize system‑level platform architectures including SW and HW.

Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely to understand key customers’ needs and translate market feedback into actionable insights.

Ecosystem Development: Foster partnerships and ecosystem growth around CCW products.

Decision‑Making: Make impactful decisions that align with overall business direction that typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds.

Technical Communication: Create and deliver complex technical presentations to showcase managed products.

Manage pre‑certified connectivity module development and ODM engagements.

Business astuteness: Leads team collaboration in the creation of business cases and validates cases for development of a new, complex product.

Market Success: Initiate and manage programs to create demand and differentiation, tracking success in the market.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.

10+ years Product Management in high tech industry.

5+ years in managing customers on technology and features.

Expertise in wireless connectivity standards (Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth/BLE) and Internet protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

Seasoned technology executive with 10+ years experience in the high‑tech space.

5+ years working in a large matrixed organization.

Strong SW background on RTOS & Linux platforms, Internet protocols and distributed architectures.

Proven track record of delivering a strong ROI on large platform products.

Experience working with ecosystem partners in the wireless space including ODM module makers.

Proven track record in identifying value‑creation opportunities and building technical solutions for them.

Exceptional communication skills with an ability to quickly establish credibility and positive influence across a diverse array of technical teams in multiple geographies.

Proven ability to work seamlessly with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product development, align on strategic goals, and ensure successful product launches and market adoption.

Experience in managing the overall silicon manufacturing process.

Pay Range: $179,200.00 – $268,800.00
