Position Overview We’re looking for an energetic and service‑mindful
Assistant Dining Services Manager
to help our dining team. This role works closely with the Director of Dining Services to ensure smooth daily operations, support and develop our staff, and maintain the friendly, member‑focused atmosphere our club is known for. If you’re a hands‑on leader who enjoys being on the floor, connecting with guests, and motivating a team in a positive, people‑first environment, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily dining operations in all club dining outlets.
Lead by example — deliver exceptional, friendly service while encouraging your team to do the same.
Help recruit, train, and mentor servers, hosts, and support staff.
Foster a positive, team‑oriented workplace where employees feel valued and motivated.
Work with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient communication and seamless service.
Greet members and guests, ensuring every experience feels personal and welcoming.
Support setup and execution of family events, club events, and golf tournaments.
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation in all dining areas.
Step in to resolve member concerns quickly and professionally, always with a smile.
Education
High School education or equivalent.
Qualifications
2 years of restaurant or hospitality supervisory experience (Country Club or casual upscale dining preferred).
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable member experiences.
Friendly, approachable leadership style with strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance.
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Knowledge of POS systems (Northstar) a plus.
ServSafe certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
60,000 – 70,000
Benefits: health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, meals, CMAA continuing education opportunities (after 1yr probation).
