Description Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer - Wearable Sleep Technology

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Cambridge, MA

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Overview:

At Nocturnal Inc, we are seeking a talented Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our cutting-edge wearable sleep technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative consumer electronics and a strong background in embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

Lead the firmware development for our wearable sleep technology devices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications

Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for sleep monitoring and analysis

Optimize firmware performance for power efficiency and real-time data processing

Creating and maintaining hardware documentation

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our products

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in embedded systems development

Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages

Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and RTOS

Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., BLE, WiFi)

Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and debugging

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Proven experience with microcontroller programming and interfacing (nRF53/52, SAMD51/21, ESP32)

Understanding of Low Power Design, Power management, and Battery-operated systems

Knowledge of TinyML implementation on resource-constrained devices
