R003091San Diego, California## **Job Description**Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is seeking to hire a 2nd-3rd year level associate to join the Litigation practice group in the San Diego office.
Candidate should have a strong academic background along with exceptional research, analytical, speaking and writing skills.
The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation (fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement and so on) and developing and maintaining strong business and client relationships.The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of discovery, preparing witnesses for deposition, drafting complaints, answers, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, managing filing and service of pleadings, etc.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines is essential.
Just as important, the candidate should have strong organizational and matter management skills.Candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree and a juris doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academics and be a member of the California State Bar in good standing.
