Senior Network Architect Support

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Sr. Network Architect Support (Infrastructure) in Fort Huachuca, AZ . The Sr. Network Architect Support reports to the Network Support Branch Manager and is responsible for delivering fast, reliable, and redundant internal wired / wireless networks ensuring Government customers have access to managed services to include common-use items. Responsibilities Perform data configuration and installation of switches, TACLANE encryption devices, and environmental sensors/servers. Support the physical installation, removal, replacement, and physical management of hardware. Monitor and conduct performance evaluation of networks. Support, install, maintain, and troubleshoot all local area networking devices and related software for branch offices and internal and external networks. Provide integrated team support and maintenance of LAN hardware and software. Maintain integrity of the LAN hardware and software. Install LAN software upgrades, including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination. Study vendor products to determine those which best meet organization needs; assist in presentation of information to management for purchase consideration and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment if procured. Evaluate new products and technologies to determine impact on existing system configurations. Document, maintain, and update physical / logical diagrams that depict current operational structures of the LAN managed devices, active network interfaces, IP addresses, and subnet masks. Lead all actions associated with installation, maintain, repair, move, and/or replace network infrastructure cabling, vertical and horizontal management systems, drop boxes, equipment racks, and cable trays. Prepare proposals, cost/benefit analyses, and feasibility studies. Provide liaison support between the LAN team, vendors and internal support group as needed. Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required. Maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes. Participate in special projects as required. Qualifications Active in scope Secret clearance or the abililty to obtain an Interim Secret clearance HS +6 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +4 or BS/BA +2 An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required. CCNA within 180 days. Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary Preferred Qualifications ITIL Foundation Certification FedVTE PMP Certification 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience Knowledge of Network Monitoring tools including Spectrum, NetScout, ACS, BNA and eHealth. Knowledge of Bluecoat Proxy applications. Knowledge of Network technologies and topologies. Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
