Responsibilities
Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team. The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential. Provide coaching and training to store associates to ensure efficient floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards. Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance. Assist in training associates on store operations, product knowledge, policies, and procedures. Execute action plans to optimize results. Manage all aspects of daily store operations. Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience. Oversee and authorize the checkout process. Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations. Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members. Build an effective schedule with the right staff at the right times. Promote an environment focused on delivering excellent in-store customer experiences. Resolve customer service issues effectively. Lead and model the customer experience standards. Display expert knowledge of products, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs. Support product launches, visual presentations, signage, and window changes. Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor. Required Experience & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of retail experience. Proficient in the use of technology (iPad, registers). Availability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours. Ability to meet physical requirements. Critical Skills & Attributes
Previous retail experience preferred. Effective communication skills with customers, peers, and supervisors. Proven sales accountability. Strong collaborative skills and team orientation. Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and processes simultaneously. Benefits and Compensation
