The Project Developer supports various pre-construction activities for renewable energy projects across the US and Canada, including permitting, stakeholder engagement, environmental assessments, and project financing due diligence. Responsibilities include collaborating with land, greenfield, interconnection, engineering, and project delivery teams to develop wind, solar, and storage projects. Support Development Activities:
Manage development from feasibility to construction, including assessments, permitting, land acquisition, and design. Collaborate with Experts:
Work with land, interconnection, pre-construction, engineering, and project teams to meet renewable energy goals. Engage Stakeholders:
Communicate with landowners, stakeholders, attend hearings, and maintain effective communication. Research and Compliance:
Stay updated on industry trends, manage permits, and liaise with regulatory agencies. Financial Support:
Develop project models, support financing, and track project progress.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Business, Finance, Energy, Economics, or related field. Minimum 2 years' experience in renewable energy or project development. Strong project management skills and ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with officials and agencies. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with dispersed teams.
Additional Details
Hybrid work policy eligible. Travel up to 30%, including overnight trips. Willing to comply with ENGIE's safety and ethics policies.
Compensation
Salary range: $86,100 - $132,020 USD annually. Includes potential bonuses and benefits. Why ENGIE?
