Our banking client is seeking a highly skilled
Sr. Application Security Engineer
to design, implement, and maintain security protocols that protect data and systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management, with a proactive approach to prevent breaches and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Skills:
Web Application Firewall (WAF), Prisma Cloud Palo Alto Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement security strategies for IT infrastructure, networks, and data. Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. Design and enforce security policies and protocols. Monitor network activity and respond to security incidents. Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed security best practices. Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and technologies. Provide security training and guidance to staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. At least 5 years of security engineering experience. Experience with WAF and Prisma Cloud Palo Alto. Knowledge of security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM. Understanding of network protocols, encryption, vulnerability management. Familiarity with security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH. Additional Details
