The position requires accuracy and sharp attention to detail.
Exceptional phone skills and etiquette.
A positive customer service demeanor and the ability to prioritize are required.
Understanding of basic office equipment.
Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Job Duties
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
Offer guests and visitors refreshments such as water and coffee.
The answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
General office filing.
Maintain and update record tracking documents (when needed).
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
Deposit daily checks following the company’s procedures, including updating Daily Cash.
Order front office supplies, and kitchen supplies and keep an inventory of stock and uniforms.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties as needed.
Assist administration with month-end close procedures.
Create customer PO.
Take supply order calls from job site personnel.
Place supply orders to vendors.
Other duties as required.
