Project Stories
At Project Stories, we don't just produce content—we tell stories with purpose. From brand documentaries to ad campaigns and social-first videos, every frame we create is rooted in meaning. Now, we're looking for a Video Editor to join our team full-time in Louisville and help us bring those stories to life.
Responsibilities:
Edit a wide variety of projects—ads, short documentaries, interviews, branded content, social media reels, and more Understand the purpose behind the footage and help make it shine Edit content for different platforms (Instagram reels, YouTube docs, etc.) Think cinematically, edit rhythmically, and tell stories that move people Requirements:
Strong, versatile portfolio that showcases your editing style, technical skills, and storytelling ability Confidence editing across multiple formats: short-form, long-form, vertical, horizontal Understanding of creative direction and ability to align edits accordingly Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (After Effects and other tools are a big plus!) Detail-oriented and organized, but also creative and experimental Ability to thrive in a collaborative team, communicate clearly, and take feedback Ability to work full-time from our Louisville-based studio Bonus Skills:
Motion graphics, color grading, or sound design experience A passion for storytelling, branding, and modern media Experience editing for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) A curiosity for learning new tools and keeping up with trends Why Join Project Stories?
