Hardware Design Engineer – Cymertek Corporation Location : Annapolis Junction, MD 20701 Clearance : TS/SCI Full Poly (requires full U.S. Citizenship) Key Summary We are seeking a talented and innovative Hardware Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components for a variety of cutting‑edge projects. Education • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Engineers may apply with 4‑5 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree; 2 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a master’s degree. Degree Focus Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Control Systems Engineering, etc. Position Responsibilities Experience with hardware design and prototyping Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory guidelines Knowledge of testing and validation processes Ability to analyze and optimize electrical circuits Strong understanding of electronic components and systems Experience with hardware simulation and modeling tools Required Skills Proficiency in circuit design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle) Strong soldering and PCB design skills Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers Familiarity with FPGA design and implementation Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues Desired Skills Experience with 3D modeling software Familiarity with power electronics and energy systems Proficiency with design for manufacturability (DFM) Knowledge of signal integrity and RF design Experience with IoT hardware integration Familiarity with machine learning applications in hardware Benefits Excellent Salaries Flexible Work Schedule Cafeteria Style Benefits 10% – 401k Matching (Vested Immediately) Additional 401k Profit Sharing 30 days Paid Leave/Holiday (No Use or Lose!)
