LTC is an interpreting agency looking for contracted Japanese language interpreters in Indianapolis, IN. You will accept appointments on an as needed basis. The ideal interpreter has 3 years of medical interpreting experience. Responsibilities Provide on-site, in-person interpretation. Be a liaison using the client’s preferred language. Accurately interpret appropriate to the setting and audience. Choose assignments that fit your availability. Comply with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality of medical information, including HIPAA. Qualifications Interpreting certifications, preferred. Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience. Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience. Ability to keep accurate records. As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will not be an employee of LTC.
