Shop Expediter Valve Research & Mfg Co Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Expediter to join our dynamic team in Deerfield Beach, FL. As a vital link between our production floor and management, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and products through the shop floor. Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities as necessary to meet deadlines. Communicate with team members and management to ensure clarity on project status and requirements. Assist in resolving any production issues or delays in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of production activities. Participate in production meetings to discuss production priorities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Familiarity with metal cutting machinery, such as CNC mills, lathes, grinding, saws, deburring, and honing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (preferably Epicor). Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
