Clinical Research Nurse, College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Position within the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM), Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Works with the Gynecology Oncology team, coordinating clinical research activities, participant recruitment, enrollment, and monitoring, providing care to research participants and serving as liaison with sponsors and CROs.

Key Responsibilities
Assist PI and research team in coordinating all protocol activities (recruitment, enrollment, data management).
Coordinate nursing and patient follow-up for clinical studies, planning related activities within scope of licensure.
Use subject matter expertise to solve problems with limited supervision.
Create and correct source documentation per protocol and ICH‑GCP guidelines.
Perform routine clinical assessments/procedures such as phlebotomy, BP readings, NIH Stroke Scale, etc.
Act as primary point of contact for study participants.
Schedule study‑related appointments.
Enter data into electronic data capture systems and update participant status; resolve queries.
Support administrative work: financials, inventory, scheduling, biospecimen management.
Prepare and submit study participant billing, review invoices for accuracy.
Interpret human subjects regulations (FDA, ICH‑GCP).
Participate in site visits (SIV/IMV), communicate with sponsors/CROs.
Perform related duties as needed. Role may change.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current valid RN license in Ohio by hire date.
Two (2) years clinical nursing experience in hospital, clinic or similar setting.
Additional experience in women’s health or clinical oncology is considered.
