OUTPATIENT CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST

Northwell Health is recruiting a full‑time BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Comprehensive Outpatient Behavioral Services Team at South Oaks. The department seeks a highly motivated practitioner who can work collaboratively with other clinical professionals in an outpatient setting.
This is a truly unique opportunity to join the Comprehensive Outpatient Behavioral Service, an outpatient mental health clinic that provides mental health services for children and adolescents from age 5 to 21, dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, anger, bullying, depression, self‑harm, and trauma. Treatment includes evidence‑based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, developing recommendations for continued care, and medical student education.
