Bon Secours in the coastal Virginia Hampton Roads/Tidewater region is seeking a Breast Fellowship trained Breast Surgeon. The care is focused on high‑risk Breast Surgery and cancer patients.
Position Details
Office Hours:
Monday‑Friday 8am to 4:30pm
Practice Setting : Hospital based and outpatient
Typical Day : Est. 20 patients per day in clinic, all adult.
Support : 1:1 ratio – Oncology Nurse Navigator, Breast Health navigation, long‑time dedicated nursing staff, aligned medical oncology, employed radiation oncology, OPIC and women’s center.
Work Schedule : 2‑3 days per week in OR and 2‑3 in clinic.
Call Schedule : General surgery call rotation is 1:3, shared among surgeons.
No general call
for breast surgeon, but is responsible for own patients 24/7/365 except when on PTO.
EPIC EMR
and MyChart for Telemedicine as appropriate.
Special Skills Training:
Breast Fellowship training, 3‑5 years surgery experience and experience building a program.
