TGRC is partnered with a leading clean‑energy technology company seeking a Senior Hardware Product Manager to drive the development, commercialization, and continual improvement of its utility‑scale energy storage platform. This role sits within the Hardware Product Management organization and plays a pivotal part in shaping next‑generation battery storage products used across large‑scale industrial and grid applications.
You’ll work across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, and field teams to define product strategy, launch new offerings, and guide technical content that supports both internal alignment and customer success. This is a high‑visibility position requiring strong engineering fluency, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
The team is also anticipating additional openings (including a role focused on cell introduction and collaboration with cell engineering), so strong candidates with cell, PCS, inverter, or utility‑scale hardware experience are encouraged to engage early.
What You’ll Do
Define product vision and roadmap based on market research, competitive insights, customer feedback and cross‑functional input
Translate strategy into clear market & product requirements and business cases
Shape offerings into standardized, commercially ready products for utility‑scale deployments
Partner closely with engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, systems) to support product development, improvements, and new feature releases
Develop and maintain technical content including documentation, collateral, and technical reference materials
Support internal and external education of critical product features for customers, AHJs, utilities, and cross‑functional stakeholders
Conduct techno‑economic assessments to optimize project margins and product capabilities
Identify opportunities for process, product, and customer‑experience improvements
What You’ll Bring
Engineering degree (or equivalent technical experience)
5+ years in hardware product management OR the energy industry (energy storage highly preferred)
Ability to bridge engineering + commercial decision‑making
Strong analytical capabilities and data‑driven thinking
Excellent communication, influencing and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel and pivot quickly
Passion for accelerating the energy transition and grid‑scale innovation
Strong exposure to at least one of the following:
Utility‑scale battery storage systems
Battery cell technologies (ideal for upcoming cell‑focused PM role)
