Family Medicine Physician for Urgent Care in Fresno, CA Position Title: Urgent Care Staff Physician
1099 Model or Sole Proprietor (full-time)
Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail
Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
Stipend: $60,000/year (for Medical Directorship)
Position Overview Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. Currently, we have 18 clinics located throughout Southern CA and Central CA to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our Fresno locations. Additionally, we are offering a Medical Directorship for any physician candidate looking to grow within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
Full-time will be 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

Qualifications
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)
Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified
CA Medical License that is active and in good standingDEA Certificate
