Manager, Software Engineering – Personalization Platform

Full‑time

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Location: Mountain View, CA

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We’re also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that’s built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun – where everyone can succeed.

Join us to transform the way the world works.

This role will be based in Mountain View, CA, and the work location is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

You will lead the team responsible for building and evolving LinkedIn’s personalization platform – the foundational infrastructure that enables every product team across LinkedIn to deliver personalized, intelligent, and context‑aware experiences to over a billion members and enterprise customers.

The personalization platform your team builds will make every interaction on LinkedIn more relevant, valuable, and effective – enabling members to discover the right opportunities, connect with the most meaningful people and content, and helping enterprise customers find and engage the right talent, leads, or learners. By empowering these experiences, the platform will help members be more productive and successful while enabling organizations to achieve their business goals more efficiently.

You will guide the design and development of scalable, intelligent systems that support personalization at both the member and enterprise level, including real‑time decisioning, contextual understanding, and adaptive user experiences. The systems your team builds will empower LinkedIn’s product teams to rapidly experiment, learn, and deliver differentiated experiences that drive member satisfaction, engagement, and enterprise productivity.
