Responsibilities
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, and ensures residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. The hospital offers trauma care with a helipad, emergency departments, maternal health, newborn delivery, NICU, intensive care, medical/surgical care, telemetry care, and a soon‑to‑be open ambulatory pavilion.
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Emergency department, ensuring overall delivery and quality of patient care, developing performance initiatives, and maintaining state and regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing work activities, ensuring quality, productivity, and efficiency while supporting strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS, ACLS and PALS required
DC RN license required
Three years of emergency manager experience
TNCC required
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused during high‑pressure situations
Commitment to uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety
Proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years
