Position Overview Acceler8 Talent is partnering with a new startup in the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) space, driving innovation through advanced hardware engineering and AI solutions. They’re now hiring for a Hardware Test Engineer. In this role, you verify their hardware system, test medical devices and subsystems, and drive the development and bring‑up of custom test systems. You’ll be contributing to the delivery of cutting‑edge technologies that restore autonomy to people living with disabilities and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Execute testing with external test labs

Work with engineering team to develop custom tests

Collaborate with design engineers to characterize custom hardware

Dry‑running tests for transfer to vendors

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 5 years of industry experience in testing electro‑mechanical hardware devices

Experience with executing verification testing and participating in the test design loop

Experience with writing test protocols and documenting results in formal test reports

Experience working within a quality system

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Familiarity with medical device compliance and standards

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Occasional travel to vendors
