Overview Job Summary
Werfen Autoimmunity Manufacturing Associates play a critical role in the manufacturing and testing of autoimmune diagnostics products. This position involves the manufacture and testing of components used in diagnostic kits for autoimmune disorders. Associates work in specialized teams, utilizing advanced automated equipment to ensure product quality and participate in troubleshooting and quality improvements, all within the framework of the company's Quality Management System.
Teams include:
ELISA team: manufacture ELISA plates, calibrators, controls, and related components.
IFA team: produce IFA slides, controls, bulks, and related components.
QUANTA Flash and Aptiva teams: manufacture coupled beads, calibrators, controls, and related components.
Product Testing team: test products across all lines and components.
Biotechnologies Manufacturing team: produce raw materials for all product lines.
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities
Follow SOPs, work instructions, and procedures for manufacturing and testing.
Participate in bulking and evaluation of in-process components and reagents.
Package, fill, and operate equipment to complete in-process components.
Maintain detailed documentation of all manufacturing activities.
Operate and clean equipment for manufacturing/testing.
Assist with raw material evaluations as needed.
Follow safety and environmental procedures.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Comply with SOPs, ISO, FDA, and other regulations, along with company policies.
Uphold Werfen values in work quality and relationships.

Qualifications Minimum Knowledge and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's in biological or related sciences required; a certificate program or A.S. degree with relevant experience may substitute.
Experience: 0-1 years in a life sciences lab; experience in regulated healthcare manufacturing preferred.
Management may substitute relevant experience for education or make exceptions.
