United Digestive's Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates invites qualified Gastroenterologists to join our esteemed team in Gainesville, Georgia. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive management of patients with a broad spectrum of digestive health issues in outpatient settings at Gainesville and Braselton Medical Offices.
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy (EGD), ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy, hemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, and TIF.
  • Conduct infusion therapies, nutritional counseling, and telehealth consultations to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of 4 MDs/DOs and 4 Advanced Practice Providers to deliver coordinated care.
  • Ensure clinical documentation complies with regulatory standards and promotes continued quality improvement.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, typically 1:9, ensuring availability for urgent cases and emergencies.
  • Manage an average of 15-18 patients daily, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Engage in opportunities for professional growth, research, and leadership within our progressive practice.

Qualifications and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Candidates who are Board Eligible and actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply through 2025.
  • Candidates previously certified who need to recertify will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to quality care are essential.
