Job Details Position: QA Analyst/Tester (Digital/Web/Cloud/Mobile Testing) Job Ref#: 44038 Duration: 12+ Months (On-Going Contract) Pay Rate: OPEN/Market Rate (W2 Only) Hiring Requirements NOT accepting any 3rd Party C2C candidates for any reason NOT accepting candidates who are on work visa’s, such as EAD or H1B NOT accepting candidates who live more than 45 miles from Torrance NOT accepting candidates willing to relocate (LOCAL CANDIDATES Only) Hybrid: Must be able to work ONSITE MON-THUR Responsibilities Quality Analyst is responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality, performance, and function of the Digital Sales platform. They will work closely with cross‑functional teams – including developers, creative designers, and product managers – to create, execute and maintain a combination of manual and automated test scripts. Their work will contribute directly to delivering seamless and superior digital purchasing experiences to our customers. Daily Tasks Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs Documents all problems and assists in their resolution Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed Key Responsibilities Understand the functionality of the core digital retailing platform as well as integrations Support the Life Cycle process of assuring the quality of the Digital Channels through proper Test Management methodology and best practices Review business requirements, system documentation, and project assets to create robust, accurate, usable test artifacts (test strategy, test plans, test cases, and automated scripts, reports) to ensure results align with business needs Lead and assist application testing team members in the development and execution of test cases, scripts, and procedures when necessary Create or assist in creating, socializing, and presenting test approaches, test artifacts, testing processes, and test metrics with appropriate teams Help drive the adoption and consistent usage of industry‑standard quality best practices, testing methodologies, and the maturity of the Continuous Testing Framework Publish and socialize testing results and metrics to enable business decisions and promote continuous improvement Participate in and/or lead test case reviews, user stories, risk assessments, requirement reviews, sprint reviews, backlog grooming sessions, and retrospectives Prepare test data and ensures readiness of the test environment before test execution Consolidate and report QA deliverables including defects identified, test execution results, and test coverage to management team Work with performance and automation testing team members to assist in identifying testing scenarios to be created for target applications Must Have Experience / Top Skills Experience testing enterprise digital/web/cloud platforms or services that involve complex data, transactions or integrations involving numerous external vendors and internal teams Experience reviewing business requirements/user stories, system documentation, and project assets to create robust, accurate, usable test artifacts (test strategy, test plans, test cases, and automated scripts, reports) to ensure results align with business needs Hands‑on automation experience including definition of automation strategy & using industry‑standard tools such as Appium, Selenium etc. Hands‑on experience with Jira/Zephyr tool set to manage defects, create defect dashboards/reports etc. for various stakeholders Required Skills / Experience 5+ years of experience in QA role in a digital product environment Technical background to clearly understand complex business requirements and testing needs of assigned projects In‑depth knowledge of QA practices, policies and methodologies In‑depth knowledge in creating and maintaining Quality Assurance documentation including Test Plan, Test Strategy & other artifacts Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and work within a hybrid environment Experience in Mobile, Frontend, Websites, Backend API testing Experience with SQL queries to pull data Hands‑on experience including definition of load test strategy, model & using industry‑standard tools Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience Location & Compensation Los Angeles, CA Estimated annual salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 (based on experience) To apply, select ‘APPLY’ in the job posting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
