Summary
This position will play a vital role in the Health Center’s primary care program. Successful candidates will be able to provide comprehensive medical services for patients. The candidate will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic and providing them with healthcare services that meet the national standards of care.
Essential Functions

Ensures patient information is always secure and confidential.
Performs evaluation and treatment of patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Assesses medical needs and develops a care plan and preventive health maintenance, assessing acute needs and chronic conditions.
Keeps accurate, concise, and thorough documentation of all medical history, examination results, and discussions with patients in relation to their health care; closes all notes in the EMR in a timely manner.
Reviews and signs off on all laboratory and radiology results, ensuring patient follow‑up when necessary.
Initiates and follows through on specialist referrals, communicating with specialist providers when necessary.
Serves as a clinic supervisor for mid‑level providers.
Met productivity standards for care providers, including a goal of seeing 16–24 patients daily.
Participates in care team huddles, provider meetings, and all‑staff meetings.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Education
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
DEA certificate
CPR Certification
Skills / Experience 1. A keen interest in helping the underserved population (e.g., the homeless population).
2. Familiarity with quality measures a plus.
3. Able to be successfully credentialed by BACHC.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
Physical Demands This is a physical position that will require standing on your feet and walking. It requires the ability to sit, walk, bend or stand as necessary, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Repetitive movements.
Bend and twist the body.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am–6:30 pm. Work hours will be 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
Travel On occasion, travel will be required.
Pay $228,000.00 per year – $350,000.00 per year
