Senior Business Analyst
Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders, collect reporting requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and data models within Workday. The role focuses on designing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday’s reporting tools, managing projects related to new business acquisitions and legacy HR systems, analyzing HR data to provide actionable insights, and supporting end‑users.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models within Workday.
Design, maintain, and optimize HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday’s reporting tools (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Discovery Boards, Worksheets).
Manage projects involving new business acquisitions, legacy HR system integrations, system upgrades, mass data loads, and Workday implementations.
Analyze HR data to provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders, supporting data‑driven decision‑making.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and Workday updates to enhance reporting capabilities and optimize system functionality.
Provide end‑user support and training to HR and other stakeholders on effectively using Workday reporting tools.
Collaborate with HR Technology to identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual tasks, and improve data workflows.
Lead Workday projects, aligning system enhancements with business and regulatory needs while ensuring seamless execution.
Assist in building system configurations, testing (unit, integration, UAT), troubleshooting, and security audits for Workday modules.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or related field, plus at least 2 years of related experience.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and Prism analytics.
Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices using Workday functionalities.
Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Workday capabilities.
Experience in configuring and maintaining Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
Strong skills in system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshooting Workday‑related issues.
Understanding of security roles, permissions, audit, and access controls in Workday.
Location: Cambridge, MA (Up to 100% remote work allowed). Employment type: Full‑time.
Salary: $135,000 - $206,100 per year (competitive compensation and benefits).
