Overview *This position is contingent upon contract award.* SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic to support a Facilities and Life Support Contract at an overseas location. Essential Job Duties Thoroughly familiar with HVACR maintenance of equipment. Knowledge of refrigeration, HVACR systems. Record of safe operations and understanding of safety standards for mechanical systems. Knowledge of building and safety codes and practices. Ability to read blueprints and perform material take-offs. Possess leadership skills. Effective communication skills with customers and subordinates. Minimum Requirements Active in-scope Secret clearance. High school diploma or GED, technical/trade school or equivalent apprenticeship with formal training in stationary engineering. HVACR mechanic qualification/certification. Eight (8) years of HVACR experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role. Universal CFC refrigerant handling license. Work Environment Reside at an overseas location. Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and hazardous conditions. Use of location-appropriate PPE and clothing required.
