We are a value‑added distributor of equipment and services for municipal water/wastewater and industrial customers. The Human Resources Recruiter will lead recruiting and onboarding activities to meet HR metrics and support business needs.

Key Duties

  • Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and effectively fill open positions
  • Ensure a great candidate experience at every opportunity
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
  • Drive a thorough interview and selection process in collaboration with the hiring manager
  • Research and implement new sources for candidate recruiting
  • Build channels, including internet sites and networking with businesses, schools, and other organizations, to find qualified candidates
  • Support creation of our employer brand and drive pay‑per‑click campaigns with the internal marketing team
  • Act as super‑user of applicant tracking system for posting, updating, and processing candidates including training new users
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Support the employee onboarding process
  • Conduct regular follow‑up with managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years in recruiting, preferably in a high‑volume environment
  • Proven relationship management and collaboration experience with all areas of the business
  • Experience in offer negotiation, employment legislation and employment market trends
  • Experience with social media and other recruiting technology including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues and best practices related to recruiting
  • Flexibility to adjust to meet business demands in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Occasional light lifting (20‑25 lbs.). Office environment. Employee regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility. Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours.

Compensation

$82,500 - $93,900+ (dependent on experience & qualifications)
