Technical Planning Project Manager, F-35 JPO Future Capabilities and Technology (FCAT) Directorate, (Hybrid Telework)
Apply to join Serco in this role that provides program management support for the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, including development, production and sustainment.
Location: Crystal City, Arlington, VA.
Serco is a contractor supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, providing expertise to ensure resolution of issues and support of program and national security stakeholders.
Assist FCAT with intelligence support across Threat, Intelligence Supportability Analysis, and Intel Disclosure/Release.
Manage Pre‑PoR F‑35 Air System Requirements and develop a comprehensive Roadmap.
Support the development of the F‑35 Flight Plan and New Capabilities Decision Memoranda.
Research and technology support: discovery, prototyping, experimentation, and transition of technology solutions.
Strategic acquisition and transition planning: integrate capability requirements into acquisition programs ready for PoR.
Program strategy integration: incorporate emerging policy, warfighting tactics, and technology into JPO strategy.
Governance: lead RWG, OAG, SWG, CESB and assist CSB and Executive Steering Group.
Transfer requirements from FCAT to PoR and provide acquisition documentation to PMOs.
Qualifications
Ability to provide onsite support at the F‑35 JPO office 2–3 days per week, up to 5 days as required.
Experience in program management, technical or business analysis in weapon‑systems acquisition and life‑cycle management.
Minimum of 4 years out of 6 years recent work experience in analysis and planning.
At least 2 years supporting a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent; or associate degree plus 10 years combined experience.
Strong communication and networking skills; familiarity with virtual tools.
Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, PPBE, and program‑management principles.
Knowledge of engineering/scientific disciplines, fleet concepts, and DoD budgeting.
Experience collaborating with international programs and governments.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Up to 25% travel.
