Network Engineer – CACI International Inc
Join us as a Network Engineer in the Luke Team. You will support the customer’s data communications network, maintain network hardware and software, monitor availability, and perform necessary maintenance to ensure mission‑critical network performance.

Responsibilities
Design, install, test network infrastructure, configurations, and equipment such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
Perform routing network maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Install and maintain network cabling systems (pulling, terminating, and testing).
Identify and resolve issues related to network infrastructure.
Leverage strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and collaborate with technical and non‑technical users.
Coordinate and implement network upgrades.
Use network monitoring, scripting, and automation to maintain network health.
Manage a large‑scale enterprise spanning on‑premises LANs and cloud platforms (SD‑N.
Implement and troubleshoot SD‑WAN, VRFs, OSPF, EIGRP, OMP, BGP, MPLS, and multicast technologies.
Maintain circuit management for LTE, Broadband, and dedicated T1–100Gb Ethernet, including cable runs as needed.
Work effectively within a dynamic team, managing competing priorities and changing requirements.
Be available for occasional off‑hour maintenance and changes.
Lead network builds and manage on‑prem LAN and VLANs.
Troubleshoot network outages and restore service quickly.
Manage network equipment across multiple locations using DMV tools.
Apply network security techniques, create VLANs, configure port security, and secure network interfaces.
Create weekly activity reports.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI polygraph clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field with 7 years of experience; or Master’s with 5 years; or Associate’s with 8 years.
CCNA or CCNP certification.
Azure network knowledge, including hub/spoke topology, VNets, SNets, Network Security Groups, Route Tables, peering, and route propagation.
Experience with at least one of AWS, Google, or Oracle.
Knowledge of Azure premium firewall policies and rule‑collection hierarchy (DNAT, Network, Applications, traffic shaping, IP groups).
Design and implementation experience for network infrastructure, routing, cloud integration, and partner networks.
Proficiency in network provisioning and troubleshooting on complex global WANs using CISCO, Palo Alto, or similar.
Experience with network management systems such as CISCO ISE and Junos Space.
Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Managing and maintaining network infrastructure and systems.
Obtaining system authorizations and maintaining security posture.
Understanding of network security.
Experience with Next‑Generation Firewalls.
Perimeter security best practices expertise.
Troubleshooting network outages/incidents, restoring services.
Managing network equipment.
Creating firewall rules to allow/deny traffic.
Effective communication in fast‑paced environments.
Accurate estimation of work effort.
Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor.
Desired Qualifications
Direct experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with Insider Threat programs.
Experience applying DevOps concepts.

Pay Range Salary is determined by factors such as geographic location, contract wage rates, prior experience, skills, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $120,800 – $265,800.
