Job Title: Production Coordinator Department: TP) Production Management Team Shift: Nights 5:45pm-6:00am or Days 5:45am-6:00pm, 2-2-3 fixed schedule (must be willing to work any assigned shift) Direct Report: Production Management Unit Manager About the Production Coordinator position We are seeking a Production Coordinator to develop and adjust effective production plans that maximize productivity, minimize delays, and reduce scrap, ensuring the production of required materials in appropriate quantities. This role also involves maintaining smooth communication with the production floor to facilitate seamless plan execution. The ideal candidate should be highly competent in understanding complex operations and capable of optimizing daily activities while minimizing costs. Responsibilities: Perform all work safely according to company standards Collaborate effectively within the team and across departments Maintain regular attendance as an essential function Assist in developing and updating production plans for continuous production Update production plans in the system for efficient information sharing Engage in scrap reduction activities Build rapport with Manufacturing and Quality Units for effective communication Communicate regularly with Manufacturing Units; modify production plans based on feedback (e.g., production levels, demands) Handle administrative tasks related to daily production Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Education: (Required) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Preferred) Advanced degree in a related field Experience: (Preferred) Relevant manufacturing experience (Preferred) Prior experience in manufacturing industry Physical Demands: Ability to move frequently within the manufacturing plant, office, and production areas, including ascending/descending stairs Remain stationary for 50% of the time Operate a computer and office machinery Position self to access files in drawers Occasionally move office equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds Benefits: 401(k) with matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays Hankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
