SAIC is seeking
Test Engineers/ QA Controllers
to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. This position will be located in the National Capital Region.
Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Winter/ Spring 2026.
Test Engineers/ QA Controllers Responsibilities
Conducts detailed testing and quality assurance activities to ensure MARS software and systems meet specified requirements
Develops comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on the MARS framework
Executes tests and documents results meticulously. Identifies, logs, and tracks defects through resolution, ensuring compliance with DIA standards
Collaborates with development teams to communicate findings and suggest improvements
Ensures compliance with QA standards and best practices
Participates in developing and implementing automation testing specific to MARS needs
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
One of the following certifications: CND, CompTIA Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cloud+, PenTest+, CompTIA Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 5 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring product quality
Experience in managing test cases, performing defect tracking, and providing test reports
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality control processes, and test management tools
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
