division within a long-established mechanical and technology solutions firm is seeking an experienced
Tridium Programmer
in
San Jose, CA . This position is primarily office-based with roughly
10–15% site visits , ideal for someone who prefers a development-focused role while staying connected to real-world project execution.
Position Overview:
Title:
Office Tridium Programmer
Location:
San Jose, CA
Travel:
Approximately 10–15% for job walks and project coordination
Experience Required:
Tridium Niagara (N4, AX, R2), plus BACnet, Modbus, and LON integrations
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, and optimize applications within Tridium Niagara (N4/AX/R2)
Integrate major BAS communication protocols such as
BACnet, Modbus, and LON
Assist in designing control system diagrams, network layouts, and panel details
Create DDC logic, custom graphics, alarm strategies, and trend configurations
Review submittals, update design packages, and prepare RFIs as needed
Collaborate with PMs, subcontractors, and equipment vendors throughout the project lifecycle
Support high-customization programming efforts with a strong emphasis on quality control
