Brook Lane is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated medical team. If you are looking for a fulfilling role in a collaborative behavioral health setting, this is your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients aged 8 and up.

Schedule & Work Model

Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday

No after‑hours call:

Your evenings are yours!

“Round and Go” model:

Complete your H&Ps and consults early; you remain on call until 5 PM but may leave if not needed.

Patient Care & Responsibilities

Average daily volume:

~15 patients, plus lab reviews and EKG interpretation

Scope:

All medical management outside of psychiatric care (low to moderate complexity)

Age range:

Patients 8 years and older

Procedures:

Minimal – mainly cerumen removal and occasional wound care

Core Duties

Complete

History & Physicals (H&Ps)

for all new admissions within 24 hours

Provide

medical consults

upon request from attending psychiatrists

Conduct

follow‑ups

for chronic conditions and lab value reviews

Independently

read EKGs

(cardiologist oversight not required)

Minimum Qualifications PA

Education:

Masters in Physician Assistant required.

Experience:

One‑year experience as a Physician Assistant preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

License to practice as Physician Assistant in Maryland required. Current DEA registration, CDS permit, BLS (CPR), and ACLS required.

Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical competence, teamwork, communication, and organization. Fluency in coding, ICD‑10, and CPT or commitment to acquire.

NP

Education:

Masters in Nursing required; Doctorate in Nursing preferred. Completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner program.

Experience:

Five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. One‑year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

License to practice as Nurse Practitioner in Maryland required. Current DEA registration, CDS permit, BLS (CPR), ACLS, and PALS (if applicable) required.

Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical competence, teamwork, communication, and organization. Fluency in coding, ICD‑10, and CPT or commitment to acquire.
