A rapidly expanding building automation and integration firm is seeking an experienced
Controls Estimator
to join its San Diego, CA team. This mid-sized organization supports high-profile commercial and government clients, including Fortune 500 companies, and is known for delivering advanced BAS solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

$75,000–$100,000 DOE + Bonus

Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed take-offs, bill of materials development, and cost estimation
Review plans, specifications, and RFP/RFQ packages to define project scope
Assist the sales team with bid preparation, proposal writing, and pricing strategy
Select materials and controls equipment aligned with design requirements
Create scopes of work for BAS/controls bids and project proposals
Ideal Candidate:
Background in estimating for building automation, HVAC controls, or related trades
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills
