Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Summary: Join us in Tacoma, WA, where St. Joseph s and St. Anthony s are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum position. This role offers the opportunity to work in an engaging hospital outpatient department setting with inpatient responsibilities, primarily at St. Joseph in Tacoma. The role spans 6 months, providing a chance to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes while working within a supportive healthcare system. Job Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care. * Conduct new patient visits and follow-up appointments efficiently. * Manage a caseload of 16-20 patients per day. * Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient care. * Participate in rotating weekend call, maximum 1 in 4 weekends. * Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation. * Bridge care until a permanent hire is achieved.
Qualifications:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology. * Completion of residency/fellowship in a relevant field. * Experienced in managing oncology and hematology cases. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
* WA State Medical License or IMLC ready to upload. * Current BLS certification. * Preferred: Clean malpractice background.
