We’re looking for a talented Senior Email Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. This person will be responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of email campaigns and marketing automation for enterprise clients. This vital marketing role involves building out promotional calendars, coordinating email creative (working with content and design teams), researching and developing target contact lists, and measuring performance of sales and marketing emails.
Responsibilities
Manage email marketing and automation strategy for enterprise clients
Lead team members to assist in the development of email campaigns
Develop effective email marketing strategies
Create, schedule and send marketing emails
Develop campaign automation strategy
Assemble email content components for marketing and sales campaigns
Track and report on company and contact list development and imports
Work with campaign stakeholders to develop target profiles for companies and contacts
Utilize database tools to build and refine target contact lists for campaigns
Work within email platforms to import, tag, segment, and update contacts
Maintain database hygiene – add and edit data, identify and prevent duplication, update job titles, email address changes, industry, and other record data points
Identify and remove inactive contacts and spam contacts
Assess and categorize new inbound prospects for classification
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business or technology field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5+ years of experience with email marketing
Familiarity with email best practices
Must have experience with Pardot
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc. is a plus
Ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines
Process oriented with strong attention to detail
Ability to be a creative problem solver
