Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities
Address daily quality concerns and questions
Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and quality issues
Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements
Ensure any non‑conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated
Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds
Verify specified dimensions of product or material
Conduct incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to procedures, specifications, drawings, samples, or illustrations
Follow instructions and work independently
Clean, organize, and set up workstations
Kit or group required parts per job requirements
Multi‑task efficiently around the shop
Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing quality environment
College degree preferred (Associate’s/Bachelor’s in a related field)
Tooling experience needed
Computer‑capable
Able to stand, walk, squat, and move for 8+ hours each day
