Salary Range $62,400 – $80,200*
Responsibilities
Partner with the manager to implement comprehensive e‑commerce category strategies aligned with overall business objectives and online sales targets.
Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to influence product assortment and productivity.
Ensure merchandising is aligned with best practices—navigation, product array, search results, features, linking strategy—and executed in a timely manner for an intuitive shopping experience.
Maintain effective product categorization, filtering, and navigation to enhance user experience. Partner with ISU to implement changes.
Ensure product information accuracy and consistency across all online touchpoints.
Track, analyze, and report on key category and brand performance metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, average order value, traffic, bounce rates).
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies as needed.
Work closely with buying/merchandising teams to align online and offline strategies and ensure optimal product availability.
Collaborate with digital experience teams to implement website enhancements and resolve technical issues.
Field ad‑hoc requests, present findings, and proactively deliver recommendations that inform strategy; synthesize large data sets into digestible takeaways that drive action.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of category‑management experience, preferably within an e‑commerce environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E‑commerce, or related field.
Strong understanding of e‑commerce platforms, functionalities, and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Comfortable working up to 4 days a week in our NYC office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and product information management (PIM) systems.
Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
