Job Details Title: Procurement Specialist – 103939 Location: USA – Ridgeville, 1020 Research Center Dr Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time Responsibilities Ensure that all commitments from the various demand planning groups are within the agreed‑upon product lead times. Resolve delays in providing the needed material within the agreed‑upon timeline; manage the lead times of all purchase orders placed on behalf of the customer and report on agreed‑upon lead times; expedite purchase orders as needed. Ensure the recommit process is followed as needed. Review the backlog report and coordinate any exclusions with the supplier; review the recommits and any rejected expedited requests. Review the supplier’s build/ship plans ensuring the plan will meet the commitments based on the purchase‑order commit dates. Review potential on‑time shipment (OTS) issues to eliminate any orders shipping after the scheduled date; document the issues and report on them weekly. Manually schedule orders falling outside of the product’s scheduled lead time with the supplier and identify reasons why the product is not scheduled within lead time. Monitor lead time of all purchase orders ensuring they are shipped within lead time; report on the lead‑time commitment attainment and manage the process when lead time was not obtained to correct any issues. Qualifications Must be able to pass any federal, state, local government, airport, or company‑required background checks and drug and alcohol tests. Intermediate level position requiring exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
