Vendor Relations Manager
EG4 Electronics is seeking a Vendor Relations Manager to manage and optimize strategic supplier relationships. This role ensures a strong, collaborative, high‑performance vendor network to support our product portfolio and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong, influential relationships with vendors to ensure EG4 is a priority partner, enabling sales growth and market competitiveness.
Act as the primary point of contact between vendors and internal departments to resolve product, process, or performance issues.
Evaluate vendor performance regularly through scorecards, KPIs, and business reviews to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service standards.
Monitor and manage supply chain risks, including potential disruptions, quality issues, and pricing fluctuations.
Coordinate vendor support for new product launches, marketing campaigns, product training, and technical resources.
Oversee the warranty and returns process to ensure timely replacements, spare part deliveries, and contract compliance.
Ensure quality standards are met from procurement through to product delivery, and manage vendor corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and inventory teams to support accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
Identify and propose opportunities for new vendor partnerships and product line expansion based on market research and industry trends.
Support contract negotiation, pricing agreements, and vendor onboarding processes.
Maintain accurate and organized vendor documentation and communications.
Requirements & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations; experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build trust‑based relationships.
Demonstrated experience in vendor performance tracking and issue resolution.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, assess KPIs, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
Strategic thinking aligned with business goals and long‑term planning.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with supply chain management systems or ERP software.
Understanding of solar industry technologies and market trends.
Experience in contract management and vendor scorecard implementation.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple vendor accounts simultaneously.
