Telecom Aerial Foreman
At VCI Construction, as a Telecom Aerial Foreman, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
You will serve as the on‑site expert, offering guidance and support to less experienced team members.

Job Duties
Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
Safely use equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators.
Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
Securely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
Safely use hand tools and power tools including wrenches, drills, and saws.
Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
Complete and maintain all required training.
Other duties as assigned.
Work independently with coworkers, customers, and others in places where interactions are unsupervised.
Provide accurate and reliable information to others in the company.
Perform a routine amount of driving for work, which must be performed safely.
Use computer and related technology safely and responsibly.
Requirements
Be 18 years of age or older.
Authorization to work in the United States.
High school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
Valid state driver's license (cannot be provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
At least 3 years of related work experience.
Must be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.
CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.
Physical Abilities & Exposures
Frequently: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate a vehicle and heavy machinery, use a ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds.
Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse.
Wage Range $68,640.00 – $92,000.00 per year.
