Following major breakthroughs, my cutting-edge space client is developing the next generation of in-space propulsion systems! They’re seeking a Propulsion Development Engineer to join their growing team.

full ownership
of your engines and test campaigns - with support from a small, collaborative team - this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
Own liquid propulsion hardware end-to-end - from requirements and design to fabrication and hot-fire qualification.
Design combustion components, subassemblies, and full engine assemblies.
Lead development test campaigns, author test plans, and drive data analysis and iteration.
Must Haves
BS or MS in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related.
3+ years of experience in rocket engine development.
Proven end-to-end ownership of a propulsion product - ideally a combustion device.
Demonstrated ability of taking project ownership and working cross-functionally with small teams.
Preferred
Experience with hazardous, high-energy, or high-pressure fluid systems.
Pressure-fed system knowledge - tanks, valves, regulators, GSE, and hot-fire ops.
Strong mechanical design, GD&T, and first-order thermal/fluid/pressure analysis.
Test campaign execution - writing test plans, running stands, managing DAQ, analyzing results.
Ability to coordinate across design, analysis, and test teams; independent and self-directed.
