We are seeking a senior software engineer who is self‑driven, motivated to achieve results, and holds a high standard for work deliverables. You will be responsible for developing various modules of our portfolio modeling and order management applications that serve our SMA business, which manages investment portfolios tailored to the goals, risk tolerance, and preferences of single investors.
We’ll Trust You To
Design and develop next‑generation order management and trading systems supporting our SMA investment professionals.
Analyze existing software code, update it to meet enhancement needs.
Work closely with business teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
Design, implement and maintain data pipelines for inbound and outbound data interfaces to integrate with internal and external systems.
Innovate by applying advanced analytical thinking and knowledge of related fields to enable digital transformation and enhance business workflows.
Take ownership of stewarding the culture with colleagues.
You’ll Need To Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years of experience in applications development, testing, documentation, production support of modern web applications using Rest API, caching, Kafka and J2EE/JAVA Architecture.
Strong experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC.
Unit and integration testing using Junit and Mockito.
Experience in React or knowledge of frontend frameworks and web technologies.
Familiar with DevOps tools and experience in CI/CD software.
Experience with source control system like GIT (preferred), Azure ADO or similar.
Experience in database systems like SQL Server, PostgreSQL is a must.
Good problem solving, intellectual curiosity and analytical abilities.
Demonstrates good communication skills and comfortable working with many teams.
Should have diverse financial experience in front‑office technologies and processes.
Knowledge of municipal trading and tools will be a plus.
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.

Compensation Annual base salary for this role is $165,000–$175,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
