Job Summary Seeking a board‑certified orthopaedic pediatric surgeon to serve as Service Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. The candidate will hold an Associate Professor or Professor rank and will contribute to clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
Responsibilities
Provide surgical and non‑surgical care for orthopaedic patients.
Produce scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest.
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
Participate in institutional service and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in medicine and board certified or eligible in orthopaedic surgery.
Specialization in orthopaedic pediatric surgery.
Eligibility for a California Medical License.
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, scholarship, and service.
Compensation Expected base pay:
Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $310,000‑350,000.
Professor or Clinical Professor: $310,000‑350,000.
Base pay reflects faculty rank and years in rank and does not include other components of the School of Medicine compensation program.
