Job Opportunity: Locum Anesthesiologist in Galloway, NJ
Join a leading hospital-based practice in Galloway, New Jersey, as a Locum Anesthesiologist. The practice is situated in a Level II trauma center, which allows you to engage in a variety of cases, ensuring a fulfilling and challenging work experience.
Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for general surgical cases (adult).
Administer IV regional anesthesia and plexus anesthesia.
Conduct open heart anesthesia and manage thoracic cases (excluding open heart).
Perform complex vascular cases (excluding open heart) and spinal anesthesia.
Apply regional anesthesia and local infiltration techniques.
Oversee ventilation management.
Supervise CRNAs as required.
Ensure proper handling and insertion of TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line.
Qualifications
Board Certification in Anesthesiology (required).
Active New Jersey Medical License (required, no waiting period).
ACLS and BLS Certifications (required).
Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (preferred).
Proficiency in managing open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular cases (required).
Experience with TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion (required).
Experience supervising CRNAs (required).
Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred).
License And Certification Requirements
New Jersey Medical License (active).
ACLS (AHA) Certification.
BLS Certification.
