Position Summary Responsible for the sales planning, implementation, and monitoring of the marketing plan for the facility.
Represents the facility to the community, interested persons, and potential referral sources within the identified market service areas.
Directs the efforts of the Professional Relations Representatives and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the facility.
Responsibilities
Direct the development and continuous refinement of the facility's comprehensive business development plan, supervising and evaluating the work activities of the Business Development Representatives.
Develop and implement monthly, seasonal, and annual strategies, and evaluate results in conjunction with Senior Management, other Department Heads and staff members.
Regularly measure the facility’s community image and advise the CEO of any developments that may impact the facility.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the business development performance against market constraints and changes, revising the plan as appropriate.
Develop appropriate analysis and reporting mechanisms, including MIS system, and provide data and statistics as required.
Work with the Director of Intake and be familiar with the admissions criteria to accurately represent the facility to referral sources.
Maintain business development referral admission records, statistics, and prepare reports and materials.
Target and create new strategies for increasing business in a highly competitive market.
Maintain and develop key business development accounts and respond to all opportunities.
Develop and implement community workshops and seminars.
Implement and follow up on all promotional efforts related to marketing plans, including expenses for paid advertising, direct mail, personal sales efforts, and public relations.
Identify new health education initiatives that meet community needs or enhance awareness of existing programs and services.
Maintain close working relationships with the Medical Staff, the Board of Governors, Intake Director, Program Managers and other administrative personnel and external groups and agencies.
Complete the month‑end report, quarterly sales goals, seasonal plans, competitive analysis and distribute to the CEO and appropriate staff in a timely manner.
Present and participate in the Quarterly Business Development Meeting as requested by the CEO.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by this position.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
Masters preferred.
Valid FL Driver’s License.
Three (3) years of experience in a health‑care business development management position.
Experience developing managed care agreements.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends, as needed.
