Seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role includes supervising CRNAs, providing care in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching medical students, and running CVOR procedures.
Job Summary We are a Level I Trauma Center and academic facility that employs a team of 18 full‑time physicians and 45 CRNAs. The position offers the opportunity to direct CRNAs, participate in a growing anesthesia residency and SRNA program, and teach medical students. The work environment includes EPIC EMR, dedicated CVORs, and full benefits (401k with match, malpractice and tail coverage, relocation support).
Responsibilities
Team of 18 FT physicians and 45 CRNAs (2 CVOR Anesthesiologists)
391 bed – Level I Trauma Center
Academic Facility
Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs
Accreditation in process for Anesthesia residency program and SRNA program
Dedicated CVORs
Academic Appointment available if desired from Creighton University School of Medicine
EPIC EMR
Full Benefits, 401k with Match, Malpractice and Tail Coverage and Relocation support
Requirements
Comfortable supervising CRNA
ABA Board certified or Board eligible
Completion of a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship
Ability to obtain Nebraska License
ACLS and BLS certification
