Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Austin, TX Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities

Account Planning & Account Management: Develop detailed plans for the account, including setting objectives, identifying key stakeholders, and outlining strategies for growth. Oversee Account P&L management and keep all Quest Global stakeholders updated on account progress.

Build relationships & influence customer decision makers: Utilize Quest Global relationships to influence customer decision‑makers, monitor milestones, track action item progress, and lead campaign effort.

Pitch Quest Global differentiation to clients: Understand and effectively communicate Quest’s value proposition and differentiators, building a deep understanding of the client’s business, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Drive campaigns: Create and implement plans and proposals to achieve the revenue target from the account on a quarterly basis.

Support account‑based marketing initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and support account‑based marketing initiatives that align with strategic goals.

Understand customer pain points and deliver customer‑specific solutions: Leverage industry knowledge to build engineering solutions tailored to client needs.

Qualifications

Business acumen & strategic thinking; customer focus; analyze complex data and trends to shape business direction.

Integrate current and future trends into strategic actions, refine go‑to‑market approaches and investment priorities.

Communicate strategic outcomes and seek team input to facilitate dynamic discussions.

Build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Strategic account planning: develop and implement account‑level strategic plans, contribute to account analysis, identify key focus areas for growth, and support account‑based marketing initiatives.

Relationship building: establish and build relationships with engineering managers and other decision‑makers.

Deep understanding of Quest Global’s value proposition, differentiators, engineering processes, and digital transformation.

Proven ability to work effectively in matrixed, cross‑functional teams including sales, delivery, and enablers.
