QuEra Computing is seeking an experienced
Full-Stack Developer
to join a fast-growing startup and help build the next generation of quantum computer management systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to our backend services written in Kotlin/Spring Boot and help shape and build our future user interface.
The approximate base salary range for this position is $154,800-214,875.
We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience. In addition to our base salary offerings, we also provide equity grants for all new hires.
Experience
5–10 years of professional software development experience
Backend development experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, with a desire to use/learn Kotlin
Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership
Hands‑on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes
Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services
Preferred Experience
Experience with distributed cloud native architectures
Experience with micro services and event‑driven architectures
Experience with event streaming platforms like Pulsar, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis
Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers
Exposure to UI/UX design principles or building developer‑friendly tools
Nice to Have
Experience with Python
Experience working in agile, scrum, or kanban environments
Experience or exposure to embedded development concepts
Quantum‑curious, though not required
